Founded in 1884, The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a worldwide technical professional society devoted to advancing the theory and application of electrical engineering, electronics and computing. IEEE serves 366.000 electrical engineers, scientists and other professionals in 147 countries. It is the world's largest technical professional society. The Institute's purposes are most succinctly expressed in their mission statement:

The membership of the student branch is absolutely free. You only have to pay for the membership of IEEE. If you are member of the our student branch you have privileges for every event. Usually the events are open for everybody but if we would have restrictions the members of the branch will be invited first and will not pay for courses organized by our team.
Student Branch gives students the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field.
