How to Join us

Joining our Student Branch is very simple, but you must respect two conditions:

1. Be a student or a recently Graduated at University of Salento
2. Be a member of IEEE.

Let us show you how to join IEEE and, after, our Student Branch. The subscription process consists of 3 steps:

1. Choice of the Membership Type (Student, Graduate Student, Graduated)
2. Personal Data entry
3. Completing the registration process.

Step 1 - Choice of the Membership Type

Follow this link and select Student / Graduate Student Member if you are a student.

Click on the orange button "Begin Join Process" to start

Step 2 - Personal Data

Just click the button "Join online" so you can access to the page "Create your IEEE account" where you can fill out a form with your personal data.

Tips:

• Title, First/Given Name e Last/Family/Surname: pay attention when you insert this data, because you cannot edit them after the registration.
• Username: the username must be 6-20 characters
• Password:  the password must be 8-20 caratteri;

Click on the Next button and access to the "Address Information" tab where you can insert the address details, these information will be used to send you a copy of IEEE Spectrum, the monthly magazine included in the IEEE membership.

Click on the Next button to view the Education Information section where you can insert your student's career.

Tips:

• My undergraduate studies are at the university level and my student status is: write here your title (nel caso di laureato in un corso triennale seleziona “Undergraduate”);
• Degree: Bachelor for the three-years Bachelor Degree (D.M. 270/04);
• School Name: University of Salento.

Step 3 - Completing the registration process!

Click here to view your electronic basket, there you can find the IEEE membership you selected at USD 27 (about 19€) for Students. You can pay using a common credit card or a prepaid credit cars such as Postepay.

• Last Name
• Membership Number

So we can inform the IEEE Italy Section of your membership and you can officially join our group!
